SOVIET GENERAL OF THE ARMY SERVICE UNIFORM This General of the Army Service Uniform is purported to have belonged to the last Soviet Defence Minister, Dmitry Yazov, who earlier in his career commanded the Central Military District. Dmitry Timofeyevich Yazov later on was a Marshal of the Soviet Union and Defence Minister from 1987-1991. He was one of the key participants of the failed coup in August of 1991. This olive tunic has red piping around the cuffs and collar. It has a Gold bullion embroidered collar insignia, and the Shoulder boards have the large embroidered gold Marshal along with the Red Army star surrounded by Gold embroidered cluster leaves. It also features a 30-Award Ribbon Bar to represent the Awards he has received. The pants are olive colored as well, and feature the heavy red generals stripes. It is in NEAR MINT CONDITION.   4. SOVIET NAVY VICE-ADMIRAL'S SUMMER DRESS UNIFORM 1967 Issue. This uniform belonged to a Vice-Admiral (2 STARS) in the Soviet Navy. The rank of Vice-Admiral was a VERY HIGH RANK, and these guys usually had command of entire Fleets (Baltic Fleet, Black Sea Fleet, etc.) in the Soviet Navy. Included are: the Tunic, with extensive bullion work on the shoulderboards and sleeves, and the ribbon bars indicating this Admiral's Awards; the pants; and the White Navy Admiral's Visor Cap.   7. SOVIET MODEL 1943 ARTILLERY MAJOR'S DRESS UNIFORM *RARE* This Rare uniform was made between 1943 and 1949 when the uniform style changed to an open collar, double breasted style . The Tunic is Olive Drab in color with red piping, has Major's Shoulderboards which feature Silver Bullion with red piping, and sleeve emblems as is proper for Senior Command Personnel. The breeches are made of heavy wool and blue in color with thin red stripes. These breeches were the Dress breeches, while the olive drab breeches that matched the tunic were the Service breeches. SOVIET ARMY MAJOR'S M1943 FIELD UNIFORMThis uniform was worn by the Soviet Army beginning in 1943, and consists of the following: Gymnastyerka Tunic with stand-up collar and a Major's shoulderboards, breeches, and pilotka (side cap) with the early Officer's hat badge.   10. SOVIET MVD CAPTAIN'S DRESS UNIFORM This uniform belonged to a Captain in the Soviet MVD. For those of you who are not familiar with the MVD, they were the equivalent of our FBI, and they were responsible for spying on and suppressing Soviet citizens. This uniform is especially complete, and contains the following: Tunic with shoulder boards and collar insignia; trousers; breeches (worn with the tall leather boots); and the Visor hat. Contains: Tunic with shoulder boards, and Gold embroidery around the collar and sleeves; Trousers with the heavy red stripes down them, that only Generals wear; and the Visor cap with a patent leather visor, a leather chin strap, and Gold Bullion laurel leaves, hand-embroidered around the hat badge, and extensive Gold embroidery on bothe the chin strap and visor. The Overcoat is in EXCELLENT+ CONDITION, with some wear to the red piping and a small /hole in the satin lining where the General's boots rubbed against it.   73. WW2 TYPE SOVIET ARMY FIELD UNIFORMSoviet 1943 Pattern. This uniform was worn by the Soviet Army from 1943 until well into the 1960's, and consists of the following: Gymnastyerka Tunic with stand-up collar, riding breeches, belt, and pilotka (side cap) with hat badge. This is an unissued set and still has the makers marks inside as well as the makers stamp, This uniform features olive-drab colored metal buttons, complete with a 5 pointed star around the hammer and sickle. The tunic has five buttons on the upper front, two on each cuff, and one on each pocket flap. Buttons and cloth loops for detachable rank shoulderboards are also on the tunic. Trousers are the riding style breeches with tapered knees and legs for wear inside high black leather boots. The cap is made of similar material as the tunic and pants, and has a red five pointed star hat badge on the front of it. The belt is the standard enlistedman's belt. This Dagger has the Zik factory logo and date stamped on the blade. The handle measures 4", and the blade just over 8". Sheath is wraped in black leather with Goldplated Solid Brass fittings. It has a picture of an old wooden ship engraved on one side of the sheath and an anchor on the other. There's a Soviet crest stamped on the handle. In Excellent Overall Condition.   107. SOVIET ARMY OFFICER'S PARADE DAGGER PostWar Issue with the Zik factory logo stamped on the blade. Handle measures 4", blade just over 8". Sheath is wraped in black leather with Goldplated Solid Brass fittings. It has a picture of Moscow Kremlin engraved on one side of the sheath and Sovet star the other.   109. SOVIET AIR FORCE OFFICER'S PARADE DAGGER Same as above, but made for the Air Force and MADE IN 1957 by the Zik factory. Has a picture of jet aircraft flying over the Kremlin on one side of the sheath and the Air Force insignia on the other. There's a Soviet crest stamped on the handle. Leather is in great condition, no chips on the "ivory". EXCELLENT+ CONDITION with a beautiful, rich patina on the brass parts. Made only from 1949 to 1959.
