POLITICAL BADGES: Many are made of SOLID SILVER with Goldplating and beautiful enamel. Deputy Badges were worn by Deputies of the Soviet Government from the various Regions and Republics that comprised the USSR. The people who wore these Badges were akin to a Congressman in the U.S. All of these Deputy Badges have Serial Numbers, and the Deputies' Books all bear the Serial # of the Badge, as well as the name and a photo of the Deputy.

  1. 50 YEARS IN THE COMMUNIST PARTY BADGE WITH DOCUMENT Awarded only to those who were members of the Communist Party for 50 Years. This badge is made of SOLID SILVER with Goldplating.   2. MOTHER AND SON COMMUNIST PARTY MEMBERS DOCUMENTS AND BADGE Here we have the Communist Party Membership Book of Elova Ludmila Anatolevna, and the Komsomol Party Book and badge of her son, Elov Igor Borisovich. For those of you not familiar with the Komsomol, it was basically a party of young communists. Both books have embossed vinyl covers and stamped photos of Ludmila and Igor.   3. COMMUNIST PARTY MEMBER DOCUMENT Here we have the Communist Party Membership Book of Vikulova Evdokiya Ivanovna. This book contains a photo and official Communist Party stamps. Members of the Communist Party were required to carry this book with them at all times, and records of membership dues paid are listed in the back of the book. This book is in NEAR MINT CONDITION. MILITARY AND LABOR BADGES:

  1. MONGOLIAN BATTLE OF KHALKHIN-GOL BADGE This Early Badge was Awarded to participants in the August 20, 1939 Battle of Khalkhin-Gol. In July of 1939 the Soviets and Mongolians were locked in battle and being pressed hard by the Japanese Kwantung Army. Soviet Marshal Zhukov arrived, and at 5:45 am on August 20, 1939, the combined Soviet and Mongolian forces drove the Japanese back in disorder across the Mongol-Manchurian frontier. The crushing loss at the hands of Zhukov helped convince the Japanese not to go to war with the Soviet Union on Nazi Germany's side.   2. SOVIET BATTLE OF KHASAN BADGE WITH AWARD BOOK This Early Badge was Awarded to participants in the August 6, 1938 Battle of Khasan Lake. In 1938 the Russians and Japanese fought a bloody but undeclared war at Lake Khasan on the Manchurian frontier. This was the first of several battles with the Japanese, that convinced the Japanese not to go to war with the Soviet Union on Nazi Germany's side. Made of Brass and beautiful enamel, this badge is a screwback and is in EXCELLENT++ CONDITION with a beautiful patina.   3. SOVIET EXCELLENT RKKA SERVICEMAN BADGE WITH DOCUMENT This Early Badge preceded the WW2 series of Excellence Badges. This Badge is unnumbered, and the document indicates it was given to Ryabokon Ivan Grigorievich in February of 1940 "For Bravery and Political Preparation" in the Army Air Corp in Byelorus, in the name of Marshal K.E.   4. SOVIET VOROSHILOV SHOT BADGE - SECOND GRADE, TYPE 1932 This is a GENUINE Early Badge that was Awarded for Target Shooting in the 1930's. It is named after K.   5. SOVIET VOROSHILOV SHOT BADGE, TYPE 1934 This is a GENUINE Early Badge that was Awarded for Target Shooting in the 1930's. It is named after K.   6. VOROSHILOV NAVAL ACADEMY GRADUATION BADGE WITH DIPLOMA AND WATCH This is a Silver Graduation Badge for the "BMA" Voroshilov Naval Academy in Leningrad. It comes with the Diploma Awarded to Captain, 2nd Ranga Ivanov Fedor Vassilievich in 1952. Also included is a watch engraved as being Awarded to him in 1954, as well as a Military Document giving his deployment orders. Both the badge and the watch are in MINT CONDITION, although as expected, the watch does not appear to run. PRICE 350.00

This Silver medal was given to a participant of the Standing Exibition of the National Economic Achievements (VDNKh) for contributing to the economy. Until 1946, Departments of the Soviet Government were called Narkomats. After 1946, they were called Ministries. SOVIET BUDYONNOVSK HAT BADGE This badge from the 30's and 40's was worn on the early pointed hats (Budiennovka) made famous by and named for Commander of the First Cavalry Army Semyon Budyonny, as well as WW II service hats.
